TELL US ABOUT A GAME-CHANGING, INFLUENTIAL MOMENT IN YOUR LIFE:
“During my first year of college, due to a variety of extenuating circumstances, my family moved to Florida. On the heels of that, I had to take a leave of absence from Chapman due to financial reasons.
I made the decision that I would do whatever I needed to do to make it back to Chapman the following fall semester. I bounced from couch to couch, took a 9 to 5 filing position and took night classes at a local junior college to stay academically eligible to play soccer when I returned. It was exhausting and challenged my resiliency. However, the experience and character I gained through that process has been invaluable to me over the past ten years. I’m thankful that everything played out the way that it did. Looking back, I wouldn’t change a thing.”
