What’s your day job?
I am the Assistant Director for Student Affairs at Chapman. I work with our Greek community assisting with leadership development, community programming, and advising.
How do you hold yourself accountable?
I hold myself accountable to my values and beliefs. I live each and every day upholding values that are important to me. Some of those include, but aren’t limited to the importance of family, a strong work ethic, being goal oriented and driven, and living a healthy and happy life.
What fuels you to take action?
When people aren’t being treated equally and people aren’t holding themselves accountable or being held accountable for their actions. I stay motivated when working with students that are excited to make a difference and just need some help to start making the change.
How do you inspire progress in others?
I think it’s important to listen. I hope that I inspire, by letting people talk and share their stories. I like helping to create exciting new ideas and to get people excited about achieving their personal goals.
Who is someone you admire and why?
I admire my parents. They continue to amazing me more and more everyday. They both continue to give back to their community through philanthropic work on a regular basis. They serve on numerous organization boards and attend various events throughout the year to support causes that are important to them. I hope they I get to give back to the community, one day, the way they are able to now. It’s really inspiring.
What do you do in your free time? Assuming you have free time!
I love to working out and staying healthy in my free time. I work out early in the mornings because I think it’s a great way to start the day! If I have the time, I love trying new and healthy recipes, reading magazines, watching Big Bang Theory, or taking a walk to unwind. I also try to stay in touch with my family and friends via email, Facebook, phone, coffee dates, etc.
